About Dylan

Hi there! I’m Dylan, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, based in Nashville, TN. I practice from a non-diet and Health at Every Size (HAES) approach with an emphasis on intuitive eating and mindfulness.

Do you desire to be healthy but feel lost in the ever-changing world of food trends (looking at you celery juice and Keto Diet)? Do you feel controlled by constant food thoughts? Does "being healthy" in your mind mean spending hours in the kitchen chopping vegetables?

Living in a world where a new diet or fitness trend pops up every 30 seconds, I know it can be misleading to determine what a healthy lifestyle entails. If this is you, you are in the right place.

Eating should be simple and enjoyable

and I will teach you how.

Between my Food Science and Nutrition Degree from Clemson University, Dietetic Residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and individualized nutrition counseling for over 300 clients, you will receive

well-informed, personalized and realistic nutrition counseling.

With your Individualized Nutrition Counseling expect:

  • Analysis of current nutrition, medical and mental health history

  • Meal ideas taking into account food preferences and schedule

  • Knowledge to feel equipped to make informed food choices

  • Understand the importance of variety in your meals

Your body does a good job of telling you what it wants but how often do you take the time to listen? I’d love to teach you how to listen to your body and create a food lifestyle that serves your mind, body and soul.

So - let’s do this! To get started working with me, schedule a consultation (quick 15 minute phone call to assess your needs). From there you will receive Individualized Nutrition Counseling, and be on your way as a happy, healthy eater!

I can’t wait to meet you!

Dylan Murphy educated me on the need to increase my daily fiber intake due to my medical condition. When I wasn’t consuming enough fiber, I felt tired. Through my time with Dylan, I learned more about my diagnosis and the importance proper nutrition plays in treatment. Since I’ve been getting more fiber, I am feeling much better and even seem to have more energy!
